24 HUGO lights illuminate the old rowing house in Sedan

In Sedan, in the French Ardennes, the Château Fort, which has dominated the city since the 15th century, is the largest in Europe. A stately silhouette that contrasts with the elegance of the old rowing house nestled on the Corne de Soissons, along the Meuse River. A multidisciplinary workshop designed to host exhibitions, painting workshops, and even a co-working space.

Franco-Belgian designer and photographer, originally from Sedan, Serge Anton, has been working on this architectural and artistic project for two years. Without revealing the interior of the building just yet, Serge Anton unveils a glimpse of the beautifully renovated facade of the Atelier.

Serge Anton appreciates warm light and the simplicity of spaces, praising the importance of shadow, as he readily points out. For the nighttime presentation of his project, he chose the HUGO luminaire, a GU10 wall light with downward-directed lighting. 24 HUGO lights now enhance the forms of the elegant building, and their newfound pride should radiate throughout the Champagne city.
